Returns & Refund Policy

Returns for Change of Mind

Under Uk Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.  However, we try to be fair and reasonable when it comes to returns and exchanges if you do change your mind after buying from us. 

If you’ve changed your mind within a few weeks of purchase and the goods are unused and in ‘as new’ condition with all the original packaging, accessories and paperwork, plus you’ve let us know you want to return something in a reasonable time frame and have a copy of your original receipt, then have a chat to us and we’ll work something out.  A re-stocking fee may apply. 

Costs for Returning under Change of Mind

We won’t pay for return freight from you back to us and we will not refund original shipping costs from us to you if you’ve changed your mind. 

Special order products cannot be returned for refund for change of mind as these are unable to be restocked by TradeTools.

 Damaged Goods Returns

TradeTools takes pride in ensuring all products are packaged as carefully as possible to prevent damage in transit.  If your package is obviously damaged when it arrives, please do not accept it from your courier.  The courier will then typically contact us, and we’ll work to get you an un-damaged replacement asap.  If damage is found when opening the delivery, please contact immediately and we’ll get back to you with a resolution.  

We recommend freight insurance as it helps protect you from negligence on behalf of the common carriers in Australia in the unlikely event your order is stolen or lost in transit.

Delivery Options

Pick up in store

Currently we do not offer an online click and collect system. We recommend calling your local store to confirm stock before visiting. We are happy to place the item aside for you to guarantee it will be there when you visit to collect. 

Free Standard Shipping

Items marked as Free Standard Shipping will be sent via our preferred sender, usually Australia Post. Some remote areas are excluded from this offer. In rare cases items may not be in stock at our Distribution Centre and will require a transfer between stores of 1-2 days before dispatch. 


With all products upon dispatch you will be sent a tracking number by the freight provider that you can use to verify all aspects regarding delivery.
